How tiny text works
Tiny text uses two different Unicode letter sets: Superscript, which raises and shrinks every letter, and Small Caps, which replaces lowercase letters with small uppercase-style forms. Both are real Unicode characters, not formatting, so they paste anywhere plain text works.
Unicode does not have a full alphabet of true subscript letters - only a handful of characters have a subscript form - so this page focuses on the two tiny-text styles that actually cover the full alphabet.
Tiny Text Generator FAQ
What is the difference between Superscript and Small Caps here??
Superscript raises and shrinks every letter, giving a tiny floating look. Small Caps keeps letters on the baseline but renders them as small uppercase-style forms, which is often easier to read in longer text.
Why is there no subscript option??
Unicode only defines subscript versions for a small number of characters, not a full alphabet, so a subscript "tiny text" generator would leave most letters unconverted. Superscript and Small Caps both have full alphabet coverage.
Will tiny text work in usernames??
It depends on the platform - some strip non-standard Unicode from username fields while allowing it in bios or posts. Test before committing to it as a permanent handle.
