How invisible text works on Instagram
Invisible text uses Unicode characters that render as blank space instead of a visible letter. They are still real characters - not formatting - so they paste into plain-text fields like any other letter.
Not every blank character behaves the same way. Some fields strip real whitespace but leave non-whitespace blank characters like Braille Blank alone, which is why this tool offers a few different options rather than just one.
Invisible Text FAQ
Will invisible text definitely work in my Instagram name or bio??
Behavior can vary and platforms change their validation over time. Braille Blank and Hangul Filler are the most commonly reported to survive Instagram's fields, but test before relying on it for something important.
Why does my invisible text disappear completely after pasting??
Some fields trim leading/trailing whitespace-like characters automatically. If that happens, try a different character option from this page, or place a visible character somewhere in the field alongside it.
Is this the same as the blank Instagram bio trick??
Related, but not identical - this page is about invisible text length, matched to what you type. For composing a full bio with blank lines between real lines, use the blank space bio composer instead.
